Loket (Tschechien), 25./26. Juli 2026 – Das KTM Kosak Racing Team absolvierte am vergangenen Wochenende den 15. Lauf der FIM Motocross-Weltmeisterschaft im tschechischen Loket. Auf der anspruchsvollen Hartbodenstrecke gingen Roan van de Moosdijk in der MXGP-Klasse sowie Valentin Kees in der MX2 an den Start und konnten mit konstanten Leistungen wichtige Meisterschaftspunkte einfahren.

Für Valentin Kees begann das Grand-Prix-Wochenende mit Rang 15 im Qualifikationsrennen am Samstag. Diese Leistung bestätigte der junge Deutsche im ersten Wertungslauf am Sonntag mit einem weiteren 15. Platz. Im zweiten Rennen musste Kees nach einem Sturz eine Aufholjagd starten und brachte sein Motorrad schließlich als 17. ins Ziel.

Roan van de Moosdijk qualifizierte sich ebenfalls mit Platz 15 für die Grand-Prix-Rennen. Am Sonntag zeigte der Niederländer eine starke Leistungssteigerung. Mit Platz 11 im ersten Lauf legte er den Grundstein für ein erfolgreiches Wochenende, bevor er im zweiten Rennen mit Rang 8 ein weiteres Top-Ten-Ergebnis einfuhr. In der Gesamtwertung bedeutete dies einen hervorragenden 9. Platz.

„Loket ist immer eine anspruchsvolle Strecke, auf der Fehler schnell bestraft werden. Roan hat am Sonntag zwei starke Rennen gezeigt und sich mit Platz neun in der Gesamtwertung belohnt. Valentin hat erneut bewiesen, dass er konstant in den Punkterängen mitfahren kann. Nach seinem Sturz im zweiten Lauf hat er nicht aufgegeben und wichtige Erfahrungen gesammelt. Darauf können wir aufbauen.“

Für das KTM Kosak Racing Team geht es ohne Pause weiter. Bereits am kommenden Wochenende wartet mit dem tiefen Sand von Lommel (Belgien).

KTM Kosak Racing Team Scores Valuable World Championship Points at the MXGP of Loket

Loket (Czech Republic), July 25–26, 2026 – KTM Kosak Racing Team completed Round 15 of the FIM Motocross World Championship at the demanding hard-pack circuit of Loket. Roan van de Moosdijk competed in the MXGP class, while Valentin Kees represented the team in MX2. Both riders delivered consistent performances.

Valentin Kees opened the weekend with 15th place in Saturday's qualifying race. He backed up that result with another solid ride to finish 15th in Sunday's opening moto. After crashing in race two, the young German fought his way back through the field to cross the finish line in 17th position.

Roan van de Moosdijk also secured 15th place in Saturday's qualifying race before raising his pace on Sunday. The Dutch rider finished an impressive 11th in the opening moto and followed it up with a strong eighth-place finish in race two. His consistent results earned him an excellent ninth overall at the Grand Prix.

The KTM Kosak Racing Team now shifts its focus to the next round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, which takes place next weekend in the deep sand of Lommel, Belgium.
